Objectives
HAZOP (Hazard and
Operability) Review is a very powerful and effective tool to analyse
the plant design at various stages; be it conceptual, basic /
front-end engineering, detail engineering or commissioning stage.
Existing installations that have not undergone such review or the
ones that are proposed to undergo modifications can also be covered
by this review. HAZOP Review provides great level of assurance
through a structured and systematic examination of the design and
operability of a system that the process design will be safe.
