We offer training courses in process simulations in AspenHysysTM. We take up the training assignments all over India as well as abroad. Stress on quality of training imparted, hands on experience in the form of practical case studies, customized training courses, explanation of significance & relevance of the simulations to actual process design and qualified trainers are the main assets of our training activities.
Most of the component and equation of state database traditionally available in Aspen has been made available in the latest Hysys version, thus making Hysys one of the most powerful simulation tools. Hysys now has the best capability of handling both the ends, viz. the upstream and downstream industry (Oil&Gas, refinery and petrochemicals) and chemical industry where lot of electrolyte handling takes place. Moreover, Hysys is the most popular and most extensively used process simulation software in the process engineering industry; both in India and abroad. We therefore encourage you to focus on Hysys for
your training requirements.
The knowledge in setting up the process simulations is indeed an important qualification in today's competitive world; so much so; that it is considered to be a more or less pre-requisite to enter the design field. Having said that, it should be realized that it is an additional and not the prime qualification. In other words, it is not a substitute for the knowledge in process design itself. It is for this reason; our courses in Process Engineering Design and Process Simulations go hand in hand.
The objectives of the training course in simulations are to be able to understand simulation set up and to be able to apply the simulation to process engineering design. The horizon of simulation knowledge widens further even as one opts for
the advanced course or for the course in dynamic analysis.
There are several courses in process simulations which are essentially classified based on the level of detailing.
Course |
Process Simulation Course |
Duration |
PTCS-01 |
Basic + Intermediate Course in Hysys Process Simulations
PTCS-01A Oil&Gas industry focus
PTCS-01B Refinery and Petrochemicals industry focus
PTCS-01C Chemical industry focus
This content packed training programme covers at least 10 to 12 different cases to make one well conversant with various aspects of Hysys. All the simulations are directly from chemical, petrochemical and Oil&Gas and the cases are selected based on increasing level of complexity. The three categories offered allow you to focus your training on the type of industry of your interest. Be sure that no one else covers these courses in as much exhaustive manner as we do.

Flexibility
We are aware of the fact that not every one; despite being interested in undergoing training in simulations; can make it due to different weekly off days or due to non-availability of leave. We have therefore tried to be as flexible as possible. Those who have weekly off only on Saturday and Sunday or only on Sunday can undergo the course on three Sundays or on Saturday and Sunday from two week-ends. For other than the regular batches declared above, if one intends to do the course only over the week- end, we would require at least three students during that period. One can get this confirmed in advance by talking to us or by arranging a group of one's own friends/colleagues. Those who are not in a position to complete the course over three consecutive Sundays or consecutive week-ends, but are interested in completing the course, are encouraged to talk to us to arrive at the mutually agreeable schedule.
Fees: Fees for the Course PTCS-01A and B is Rs. 20,000 per participant, while that for PTCS-01C is Rs.
18,000 per participant.
